This is an update for the previous article, we did about Rick Ross at Sanctified Church Revolution blog, about a NC gang allegedly making death deaths against the rapper on video. Celebrity rap star, Rick Ross has been also getting death threats in Chicago, not just in North Carolina and other various cities. According to Huffington Post, the rap star claims he did not cancel his show, because of several death threats, but they are taking the threats very serious.
Now, according to TMZ.com, the Gangster Disciples is demanding money from Rick Ross, demanding he cut a check for GD founder Larry Hoover who is is serving six life sentences at a prison in Colorado for drug conspiracy and extortion convictions, according to MSN blog. Ross refuses to hide from the gang members who previously disliked Rick Ross mentioning Hoover in his 2010 single, "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)." Possibly, it would have been the right thing to do for him to apologize, but it could be too late, because this gang is bullying him and will not stop.
Hopefully, Rick Ross will fully submit his life to Jesus Christ and just give up his career as a rapper. No amount of fame and fortune is worth him losing his life. Being a celebrity rapper has never been safe. It is no more safe than the days if Biggie Smalls and 2Pac, the only difference is, there are no rappers threatening his life, these are actual gang members from various cities.
In the meantime, we will continue to pray Rick Ross. Also, we pray for these gang members to submit to Jesus Christ.
