Chris Lighty's Family, Hip Hop Friends Launch Private Investigation Into His Death

Report says:

An angry rift has developed between music mogul Chris Lighty’s widow, Veronica Lighty, and his family and famous friends including 50 Cent, who have hired their own investigators to probe the circumstances of his death.

Lighty, the 44-year-old founder of Violator Records who managed the careers of 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J, died in August of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, reportedly after an argument with his wife at their Riverdale home.

Hip Hop Mogul Chris Lighty Gets 2nd Autopsy

The day they put him to rest was a standing-room-only funeral on last Wednesday where many paid their respects to music-industry mogul Chris Lighty.

The family of Chris Lighty has commissioned a second autopsy of the hip-hop mogul whose death in New York last week was ruled a suicide.
